Alexandre Jouveaux

Alexandre Jouveaux is a winegrower who in recent years has become known for the quality of his wines. His production is very minimal and every year they become more and more popular. He worked as a teacher at the wine school while slowly acquiring enough vines to start his own Domaine.

He maintains a minimalist approach in the vineyard, working according to organic farming principles, harvesting the grapes by hand and choosing not to filter the wine. The wines themselves can be incredibly reductive for the first few years in the bottle, but when they open after a few years they are really interesting.

Alexandre is married to Maryse Chatelin, as her husband is an oenologist. The fruit of the work is a wine produced by biodynamic vine management and great sensitivity.
