Andreola, Prosecco and Spumanti from Valdobbiadene
The Andreola winery from Veneto is based at Col San Martino, a few kilometres east of Valdobbiadene itself, in a marvellous location that expresses the best of the denomination in terms of elegance and minerality.
It was here, precisely in the mid-1980s, that Nazareno Pola founded the Andreola winery, now run by his son Stefano Pola, with a business philosophy based on a combination of tradition and modernity. The seventy hectares of vines owned by the company are cultivated almost exclusively with glera grapes, to which are added small quantities of other varieties native to the area, such as verdiso, bianchetta and perera.
Grapes grown with full respect for the environment and the ecosystem, and the work is carried out in the winery under the direction of oenologist Loris Dall'Acqua. Andreola's range of Proseccos, from Brut to Extra Dry, are now undisputed references for every lover and enthusiast of the genre.
