Champagne Bruno Paillard, excellence of Reims

Bruno Paillard is one of the most renowned wineries in Reims, in the heart of Champagne. Bruno, born into a family that was already involved in wine, began working as a broker but cultivated his dream of producing his own Champagne. So in 1994 he bought the first vineyards and began to expand following a slow and sustainable production philosophy, with the aim of protecting the environment.

Today the estate covers 32 hectares, 12 of which are under Grand Cru appellations. The estate's own Chardoonay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are sufficient for half of the production, with the other half purchased from trusted farmers.

Bruno wants to create a Champagne very different from the others, authentic, paying attention to some characteristics such as: the effervescence that must be delicate, allowing to give creaminess to the sip, the natural colour, pure aromas that are guaranteed by the must flower obtained from the first pressing, the freshness that must be present but not dominant, the minimum dosage.

One is looking for elegant and complex Champagnes, where complexity is not synonymous with heaviness but is given by the balance and depth of the wines, it thrives on its own with age.
