It was founded in 2004 by Paolo Veglio, who decided to stop selling his own grapes and make his own wine with the help of oenologist Paolo Scaglione.
Cascina Roccalini cultivates mainly Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto grapes, using traditional and environmentally friendly cultivation techniques. The care of the vineyards is an artisanal process, which requires attention and passion for the land and the plants. The Barbaresco Roccalini is the flagship of the winery, an elegant and structured wine capable of expressing all the nuances of its territory of origin. But Cascina Roccalini also produces other fine wines, such as Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and Langhe Nebbiolo.
Every bottle of wine produced by Cascina Roccalini encapsulates the passion and dedication of the family that runs the company. The company's aim is to produce high quality wines that best represent the beauty of the Piedmontese territory and its winemaking tradition.
