CAZÉ-THIBAUT
In the heart of the Marne Valley, the Maison de Champagne Cazé-Thibaut embodies a rich history shaped with passion by ten generations of devoted winemakers. Each plot of this estate is a unique expression, a terrain with singular needs to be understood for optimal adaptation. The primary intention of the Maison is to convey authentic emotion, reflecting the distinctive character of each terroir.
The adventure begins with Roger Cazé, a visionary pioneer who, over the centuries, left a mark on the Champagne tradition. As a skilled winemaker, he was the precursor in marketing Champagne bottles, spreading his fame beyond the boundaries of the valley. His dedication to the land and the craft inspired a long line of men and women, contributing to the development of Maison Cazé-Thibaut.
Today, Fabien continues this precious heritage, working with passion to create wines of remarkable precision and unparalleled elegance. His vision is deeply rooted in the notion of terroir, making each cuvée a unique emanation of the soil from which it originates.
From grape to wine, Maison Cazé-Thibaut promotes an artisanal approach, emphasizing traditional soil work, such as plowing and hoeing. Respect for the vines guides every gesture, eliminating the use of herbicides and insecticides in favor of sustainable cultivation. From careful pruning to the meticulousness of the harvest, manual labor is omnipresent, testifying to the constant commitment to quality.
The winemaking process is meticulous, marked by a long aging period on fine lees, ranging from 24 to 72 months. The decision to dosage or not is made during precise tastings, aiming to preserve the authenticity of the wines without altering them. Every bottle that leaves Maison Cazé-Thibaut is the result of a centuries-old heritage, artisanal tradition, and boundless passion for Champagne.
