CHATEAU CHAMBRUN
Chateau de Chambrun
Le Chateau de Chambrun is located in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. This property belonged to Jean-Philippe Janoueix until 2007 when Silvio Denz became its owner, purchasing the surrounding land to form an estate of almost 7 hectares.
This Swiss businessman, who has made his fortune in the world of luxury and perfumes, is also in charge of the châteaux of Péby-Faugères, Faugères and Rocheyron in Saint-Émilion, vineyards in Tuscany and Catalonia and two trading houses in Switzerland. Following the complete renovation of the vineyard and cellar in 2012, the company decided, in addition to the integrated viticulture (or "lutte raisonnée") applied to the vineyards for several years, to work towards organic farming certification.
In 2016, a new young and dynamic team is appointed to develop two key themes: production in a modern style that respects the environment and the development of "wine tourism", a work to better tell the story of the exceptional terroir in which their vines thrive.
