Domaine de la Cras, biodynamics wines from Burgundy

In 2013, the city of Dijon bought 160 hectares including the Domaine de la Cras in order to curb urbanisation and preserve the city's green belt and peri-urban agricultural activity.

The municipality also decided to entrust the management of the estate to the Côte-d'Or Chamber of Agriculture, which in turn asked winegrower Marc Soyard to take the reins.

Originally from the Jura, Marc worked alongside Jean-Yves Bizot at Vosne Romanée as head of cultivation, thanks to which he developed a great deal of experience in biodynamic viticulture, with which he manages the 8 hectares of vines at Domaine de la Cras, planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
