DOMAINE FREDERIC PUFFENEY

Domaine Frederic Puffeney has been located in the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) of Arbois, in the heart of the Jura region, since 1995. This domaine produces a wide range of wines exclusively from its own vineyards, carefully grown by hand on the hills of Arbois.

The history of Domaine Frederic Puffeney is rooted in this fascinating wine region. Arbois is a village that has a long tradition linked to viticulture and oenology, and also has the rare honor of being the first AOC established in France in May 1936.

The Arbois vignoble extends over limestone soils which favor the cultivation of the five typical Jura vines: Trousseau, Pinot Noir, Ploussard, Savagnin and Chardonnay.

Domaine Frederic Puffeney's viticulture and production philosophy is steeped in authenticity and simplicity, representing the winemaking traditions of the Jura in its own right. Grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Savagnin, Trousseau and Ploussard are grown here, resulting in wines that fully reflect the terroir and unique character of Arbois.

Frederic Puffeney's winery also follows organic and bio-dynamic principles in the cultivation of vineyards, underlining the importance of work in the vineyard to create high quality wines.

A manufacturer to follow carefully.
