Natural wines of Domaine Gauby

Domaine Gauby is a family business run by Ghislaine, Gérard and Lionel Gauby, just 45 hectares of vineyards in Calce, 20 km northwest from Pérpignan. Vines, cultivated according to the dictates of organic farming since 2001, are more than 10 years old and some plants even reach the century of life. They are worked and treated only with natural products, plants and rain water collected during the year.

The low yields due to the calcareous and schistose soils give life to natural wines full of power and taste, in the cellar the intervention is comparable to that practiced in the vineyard, as little as possible.

Exclusive use of indigenous yeasts, no acidification of the wine nor sweetening of the must, no clarification nor filtration.

In Domaine Gauby's wines we find the purest soul of Calce's terroir, red and white wines tense and mineral, dynamic, fresh and incredibly digestible, already appreciated by international critics since some years.
