DOMAINE TISSOT
Domaine Tissot, authentic wines from Jura
Domaine Tissot was founded by André and Mireille, who, in 1962, decided to start making wine in the Jura region, in particular in Montigny-les-Arsures, not far from Arbois, with the intent of producing territorial and authentic wines. In the 90's their son Stéphane Tissot and his wife Bénédicte increase even more these ideals of banning the use of chemical substances until in 2004 they receive the certification of biodynamic agriculture Demeter.
The domaine has 35 hectares of vineyards, all cultivated biodynamically, located between the most qualitative terroirs of the Jura: Curon, La Mailloche, Les Bruyères and Château-Chalon, on a very special terroir that gives authenticity, elegance and delicacy.
In the winery are used the same careful practices of the work in the vineyard: use of only indigenous yeasts, no filtration, little use of sulfur dioxide and separate vinification. Domaine Tissot's labels are all wines endowed with great personality and authenticity.
