ESENCIA RURAL
Esencia Rural, vini biodinamici di Spagna
The Bodega Esercia Rural is a Spanish winery located in Quero, a small village in La Mancha, where the legend of Don Quixote was born.
This marvellous place in the Spanish hinterland is particularly suited to wine production: a plain with gentle undulations and a sunny, breezy climate with very little rainfall where, in addition to various vegetables, garlic and saffron, vines are grown.
The vineyards cover 35 hectares, with vines ranging in age from 30 to 150 years, on calcareous subsoils, where local varieties such as Tempranillo, Tinto Velasco and Airén are grown according to biodynamic farming principles.
The winery is now run by Julian Ruiz Villanueva, a sensitive and passionate winemaker who produces artisanal wines with a Mediterranean style.
