FRANCOIS CROCHET
Francois Crochet: Sancerre's Wines
Domaine Francois Crochet is located in the small town of Bué, at the gates of Sancerre, in the Loire Valley and includes 10 hectares of fine vineyards that boast all three types of Sancerre soil: chalk, flint and gravel gravel.
The Domaine is a small family-run business led by François who, after graduating from the famous Beaune wine school, got his teeth working for the famous Domaine Bruno Clair.
Today he carries out his work in full respect of the terroir and traditional methods, such as manual harvesting and careful selection of the grapes. It is one of the first to harvest in Sancerre, so its wines are included in a great acidity. Despite this however, they surprisingly express harmony and a perfect balance between power and elegance.
Sublime and fascinating labels make up the Uncinetto range, which over the years has been so successful that it is no longer able to keep up with the request, fueling its choice to make wine in quantity, limiting a loss of quality.
