Françoise Bedel & Fils embodies the essence of a champagne tradition with a pure and crystalline soul, shaped according to the principles of biodynamics. Located in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, in Crouttes-Sur-Marne, this domaine stretches over 8 hectares, divided into 40 parcels scattered across Crouttes-Sur-Marne, Charly-Sur-Marne, Nanteuil-Sur-Marne, and Villiers-Saint-Denis. The precious vineyards, standing proudly on diverse soils, epitomize the encounter between clay, limestone, and calcareous lime, bestowing upon the land a variety of nuances and a richness reflected in their fruits.

The ancient wisdom of nature has been embraced since 1998, when the decision to adopt biodynamics was made with the clear intention of safeguarding the vitality of the land for generations to come. The mission is clear: to produce champagne of exceptional quality that embodies the authenticity of the terroir, respecting the delicate balance between vineyard and environment. And so, among the vines, every gesture is an act of reverence: from herbal infusions to decoctions, from horn-silica to horn-manure, everything is designed to nourish and restore harmony between the vegetal and the living.

But it is in the act of harvesting that the miracle occurs: with expert eyes and refined palates, the precise moment to harvest the fruits is decided, seeking the perfect balance between aromatic expression and freshness. Vinifications are an ode to singularity, each grape variety, each parcel treated with the care that only mastery can guarantee. While some of the grapes rest in oak barrels, caressing the time and soul of the wood to acquire body and depth, others find refuge in vitrified cement tanks, preserving freshness and verticality.
