GRAZIANO PRA
Graziano Prà natural wines from Veneto
Graziano Prà's winery is located in Monteforte d'Alpone, in the Soave Classico production area. Graziano Prà inherited the vineyard and the passion for the world of wine from his grandfather and father, winemakers before him. Since the early 1980's Graziano has been personally following the cellar, cultivating the various small crus that make up the approximately 20 hectares of the property with the utmost respect for the territory and the natural rhythms of the vineyard. Thanks to Graziano's meticulous care, vineyards such as Morandina, Colle sant'Antonio and Monte Grande, once unknown to almost all lovers of good wine, are now known throughout Italy and abroad.
Graziano understood that the future of wine is in organic farming and immediately launched into this difficult undertaking, with an act of love dedicated to his Valpolicella. Graziano Prà's vineyards are located at about 500 meters above sea level, on the marly hills of the Mezzane Valley, in the area of the Veronese Prealps, white lands produced by the fusion of calcareous rock with clay and sea sand, uncontaminated, poor and not very fertile lands, where once meadows and woods grew, but ideal for the cultivation of vines.
Graziano has also put every attention and care into the design of the winery, which faithfully reflects the architectural harmony of the farmhouses in the countryside of Monteforte, where he was born. Large interior spaces dedicated to the separate vinification of the different crus, where all the operations are carried out according to the dictates of the most authentic natural organic production, supported by modern technology and equipment. The wines of the Graziano Prà winery are the happy expression of the land from which they come, of which they faithfully reflect all the peculiar characteristics.
