GROSJEAN

Grosjean, vini naturali valdostani in vendita su Grandi Bottiglie

"For several decades now, I have been coming to the Aosta Valley out of a desire to learn about its wine history. Each time there is always a new corner of these mountains to discover. There is no more beautiful place in the world than these valleys." (Neal Rosenthal)

The Grosjean brothers' winery was founded in 1968, when grandfather Dauphin began bottling his own wine to present it at the "II Exposition des Vins du Val d'Aoste": the success of this fair stimulated the initiative that took his grandfather's winery from 3000 square metres of vineyards to the current 120,000. In the following years all five sons were involved: Vincent, Giorgio, Marco, Fernando and Eraldo, each responsible for a specific sector.

Grosjean's philosophy is undoubtedly based on tradition and respect for nature, through the cultivation of indigenous vines such as fumin, cornalin, prëmetta and vuillermin and the adoption of cultural techniques that respect the land.

Since 1975, no insecticide or acaricide treatments have been carried out, and all fertilisers are of organic origin.

Since 2011, the attention and respect for nature have been certified and the European Organic Wine logo has been on the label.

We are dealing with wine craftsmen who are committed to a territorial project that takes on the flavours of the mountains and forests.

The wines are structured, but flow naturally, they have nuanced scents elegantly marked by a clean vinification, where there is no forcing. Only indigenous yeasts and minimal sulphites.
