Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara, traditional wines from Tuscany

Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara winery is located in Tuscany, not far from San Gimignano, in the hills of Siena, and was established in 2000 thanks to the work of Logi family. The winery is run by brothers Alessio, Stefano and Giampiero, veterans of the teachings of their father Mario, who has always been involved in working the land and vineyards.

The vineyard of Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara spreads for 20 hectares at an altitude ranging from 350 to 390 meters above sea level. Only autochthonous vines of the area are cultivated according to organic farming principles, for which the winery has received the certification. The soils on which vines grow are of different types: from clayey marls to soils rich in tufaceous skeleton. The oldest vines reach 30 years of age.

The range of wines of Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara winery is based on the concept that wine must authentically reflect the territory, and that only from quality grapes can be obtained quality wines, that is why they take care of the vineyard with care and precision and there is a meticulous selection of harvested grapes.
