Michele Satta is a modern interpreter of Bolgheri wines: his debut dates back to the mid-1970s, when he made his first harvest in Bolgheri while he was still a student at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Pisa. Since that moment he has never abandoned those lands and today he has been carrying out his work with passion and study for 30 years, and it is precisely the desire to get involved and experiment that has allowed him to create unique, elegant and original, refined bottles. and long-lived, an individualistic and more modern version of the wines of this area. The Michele Satta company includes 20 hectares of vineyards divided into different plots that are worked individually and in a different way with respect to different needs, in order to maximize the different characteristics of the terroir and of the vines planted. “I tried to maintain loyalty to the vineyard, without following the Bolgheri style so fashionable in the nineties”. With these words Michele makes us enter his world, presenting his range of wines: unique and original versions of the Bolgheri landscape.
