Luigi Oddero, Barolo tra tradizione ed innovazione
The winery was established thanks to Luigi Oddero, an enologist and a man of great curiosity and culture, whose work has been based on the union between innovation and tradition, following the model of his grandparents who already traded wine.
Today, after Luigi's death, the winery is run by his wife Lena and by their children, Maria and Giovanni, who manage the vineyards owned by the winery and located in the three communes of Le Marche. located in the three communes of the Langhe of the Barolo appellation: Rive in Santa Maria di La Morra, Rocche dei Rivera in Castiglione Falletto, in the geographical area Scarrone in Castiglione Falletto and Vigna Rionda in Serralunga d'Alba.
The other grapes, Dolcetto, Barbera and Freisa are mainly located in the communes of La Morra and Serralunga d'Alba, whereas Barbaresco is produced from Nebbiolo produced in the vineyards of Treiso. Labels produced by Luigi Oddero winery are the following: Barolo Vigna Rionda, Barolo Rocche Rivera, Barolo Specola, Barolo, Barbaresco Rombone, Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Langhe Freisa, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Bianco and Moscato d'Asti.
