Pascal Jolivet, grandi espressioni della Valle della Loira

Pascal Jolivet is a talented producer from the Loire Valley. His adventure began in the 1980s when, at a very young age, he inherited from his father a distribution company in Pouilly sur Loire. Within a few years, Pascal created his own brand, bought a winery to produce wine on his own and developed his own very particular style.

Over time, his estate grew to include 65 hectares of vineyards in the best appellations of the Loire Valley: Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé and Touraine. The basis of Pascal's production philosophy is a great respect for tradition and the search for the highest quality of his wines. In the vineyard he uses organic farming methods and in the cellar he chooses to vinify the grapes from the different vineyards separately, using long fermentations, static decantation without clarification, ageing from 3 to 6 months on the fine lees in steel or in large oak casks for the most important wines.

In this way, Sauvignon Blanc, the only vine cultivated, is able to express the terroir of each individual plot to the full. All of Pascal Jolivet's wines are great expressions of Sauvignon Blanc from different areas of the Loire Valley, each with its own characteristics and character.
