Rinaldi wines represent the characteristics of the terroir in a pure and undisputed way: The Barolo area is the most renowned because the two main terroirs merge here: you go from the compact and marly soils of the Helvetian period in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, to those more clayey than the Tortoriano period present in La Morra. So in Barolo there are limestone, clay and sand, which give the wines balance, harmony, color and typical aromas of the area. The mainly cultivated vines are Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto.
