Valle Reale wines from Abruzzo

The Valle Reale company is located in a wonderful natural mountain setting in Abruzzo, between the provinces of Pescara and L'Aquila and in the middle of three natural reserves.

Here, the owner Leonardo Pizzolo manages about 46 hectares of vineyards distributed over 5 plots between the towns of Popoli and Capestrano, between 350 and 400 meters above sea level.

A real "mountain viticulture" is practiced following a sustainable and respectful approach to preserve the territory, which is based on principles of biodynamic agriculture: since 2007 all fermentations are carried out spontaneously, letting the indigenous yeasts do their work; aging takes place in steel to preserve the primary characteristics of the grapes, and are bottled without being filtered.

The result of this work are wines of character, pure and expressive representations of the Abruzzo terroir.
