Puligny Montrachet "Clos du Cailleret" 2019 1er Cru Jean Charinon

Jean Chartron's Puligny-Montrachet 1 Cru Clos du Cailleret Monopole 2019 is a Chardonnay-based white wine, produced from vines planted on clay-limestone soils.

Fermentation is carried out in oak barrels (30% new and 70% 1-5 years old), while maturation is initially carried out in oak barrels on fine lees for 12 months, before finishing 4 months in vats.

Intense golden yellow in colour, Jean Chartron's Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos du Cailleret Monopole 2019 has a complex nose that develops around floral hints of iris and dried fruit. The sip is balanced between fatness and acidity, with great ageing potential.
