Refosco 2018 Miani

Refosco 2018 is a fine Italian wine produced by Miani. It is obtained from 100% Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, an autochthonous Friulian red berry variety, which if vinified in purity from slightly grumpy wines, with high acidity and tannin. This wine, however, ages in barriques for about two years, in order to offer a complex and balanced wine, capable of reaching very high levels despite coming from an area particularly suited for the production of white wines. This Refosco 2018 Miani shows itself in the glass of a deep ruby red color, while the nose gives an intense and complex bouquet where ripe red fruit and elegant spices are clearly recognizable, then leather, tobacco and ethereal hints. The sip is full and deep, balanced and harmonious, with a very long balsamic finish.
