Refosco Cossut 2015 Miani

Refosco Cossut 2015 is an Italian fine wine produced by Miani. It is obtained from 100% Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, an autochthonous Friulian red berry variety, which if vinified in purity from slightly grumpy wines, with high acidity and tannin.

In the case of this bottle, however, the grapes come from 20-year-old vines of the renowned Cossut cru, in the Buttrio area, and undergoes aging in barrique for about two years, in order to offer a complex and balanced wine, capable of reach very high levels despite coming from an area especially suited for the production of white wines.

This Refosco Cossut 2015 Miani shows itself in the glass of a deep ruby ​​red color, while the nose gives an intense and complex bouquet where ripe red fruit and elegant spices are clearly recognizable, then leather, tobacco and ethereal hints. The sip is full and deep, balanced and harmonious, with a very long balsamic finish.
