Ribolla Gialla Pettarin 2021 is a fine wine produced by Miani in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is a rich, complex and elegant white wine that is part of the Colli Orientali del Friuli denomination. This area, located in the province of Udine, is almost on the border with Slovenia and has a unique and special terroir: the so-called ponca friulana, which is a layer of marl alternating with sandstone that tends to disintegrate easily due to atmospheric changes, thus creating an extremely grainy soil that is able to give wines a clear mineral imprint. Obtained from 100% yellow Ribolla autochthonous grapes, it ferments in French oak barrels and ages in barriques for about 12 months. The Ribolla Gialla Pettarin di Miani has an intense and bright straw yellow color; on the nose it expresses a rich and complex bouquet of ripe yellow fruit, custard, dried fruit and spices. In the mouth it is full-bodied, very fresh and savory but at the same time soft and enveloping.
