Richebourg 2018 Domaine de la Romanée Conti

Richebourg 2018 is a fine wine produced by Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, a legendary Burgundy estate where the world's most famous and renowned Pinot Noirs come to life. An international icon of Burgundy, its vineyards cover 25 ha around the village of Vosne-Romanée.

Behind the excellence of these wines, shrouded in an aura of mystery, there are factors that have undoubtedly partly determined their success: the low yields in the vineyard, the advanced age of the vines, the maniacal care both in the vineyard and in the cellar where the ageing is carried out solely in new Tronçais oak barrels, built specifically for the Romanée-Conti cellars.

The 2018 Richebourg is made from 100% Pinot noir from a vineyard of around 4 hectares from vines that are 40 years old. It expresses itself in the glass with an intense and bright ruby red colour, while the nose offers an elegant bouquet of blackberries, raspberries, white and white pepper and wet stone. In the mouth it is full and sapid, balanced and persistent.
