Rosae 2023 Giuseppe Rinaldi
Rosae is the wine that Giuseppe Rinaldi produced from Ruchè, which today continues to be produced by his daughters. The name Ruchè does not appear on the label because this wine is outside the denomination. It is true that Ruchè is a grape native to Monferrato, but in the Langhe it manages to express its varietal aromas and enveloping character.
Beppe was very attached to this bottle, and defined it (without any intention of belittling it) as a wine for happy moments, to be offered during merende sinoire with salami and cheese. He implicitly did not consider it a wine for ageing, and in fact, characteristics such as low acidity and tannin, together with the primary aromaticity of the grapes, make it a wine suitable for consumption in its youth.
Giuseppe Rinaldi's Rosae has an intense ruby red colour with purple highlights. The nose is varietal, with the typical scent of Rose dominating the bouquet, accompanied by aromas of red fruit and delicate spices. The taste is soft and enveloping, warm and persistent.
