RS19 Magnum 2019 Radikon
RS19 Magnum 2019 is a natural wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia produced by Radikon. Radikon's RS18 is a rich and intense red wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia, made from a blend of mostly Merlot and a small amount of Pignolo, a historic indigenous Friuli grape that has always been used in blends to give wines structure and longevity.
The wine "RS18" authentically reflects the territory to which it belongs and is inspired by the tradition of Friulian wines, interpreted by a great producer like Radikon. Fermentation takes place spontaneously using only indigenous yeasts with 15 days' maceration on the skins, after which the wine matures for 18 months in large oak barrels and is bottled without filtering. On tasting, it shows an intense ruby red colour with purple highlights.
On the nose it expresses a bouquet formed by aromas of dark berries, spicy notes and aromatic herbs, cocoa and roasting. The sip is deep and structured, balanced by a nice dose of minerality with well-integrated tannins.
