Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly 2021 Sylvain Langoureau
Sylvain Langoureau's Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly 2021 delicately balances floral and light fruit notes, displaying good structure. Produced from Chardonnay grapes in the Premier Cru vineyard, the vines at 280m above sea level offer elegance and complexity. The 30% new oak aging adds refinement. On the palate, it is balanced with a wine-category structure, demanding time and ending with a good salty finish.
Situated between Puligny Montrachet and St. Aubin, Domaine Sylvain Langoureau, run by a husband-and-wife team, consists of small plots near the Grand Crus. Vines, mostly Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté, are meticulously cultivated by hand. The En Remilly parcel, adjacent to the renowned Le Montrachet, yields mineral and refined wines.
Sylvain Langoureau's Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly features a rich aroma of lime, green apple, almond, toast, and floral tones. Ideal with scallops, fish dishes with light creamy sauces, seafood pasta, white meat, and lightly aged cheeses. Ready to drink but can age for a minimum of 3-5 years.
