Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sur Le Sentier du Clou 2021 Domaine Larue
Domaine Larue's Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sur Le Sentier du Clou Rouge 2021 is a fine example of Pinot Noir from the renowned Burgundy wine region in France. This wine is produced in the heart of the Saint-Aubin appellation, between the picturesque hamlet of Gamay and the traditional village of Saint-Aubin. The vines, planted between 1966 and 1995, are located at an altitude of 280 metres, on a clayey-limestone terroir which gives the wine a distinctive character.
At Domaine Larue, winemaking is a matter of trust and collaboration. Denis, the eldest of the two brothers, takes care of the vineyard and the treatments. Didier, on the other hand, manages the aging and marketing of the wines. Bruno, Denis' son who joined the domaine in 2006, was entrusted with the responsibility of the works on the land. His presence has made it possible to carry on the quality approach that distinguishes the domaine with even more determination.
This Saint-Aubin 1er Cru shows a lively ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of red fruits and a subtle spicy note, resulting in a balanced and delicately structured palate. Thanks to its fresh acidity and finely woven tannins, this wine has an aging potential of 2 to 7 years, while being versatile enough to be enjoyed even in its youth.
Ideal to accompany red meats such as lamb, beef and venison, as well as a variety of cheeses, the Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sur Le Sentier du Clou Rouge 2021 is a wine that embodies the authentic expression of its terroir and the winemaking prowess of the Domaine Larue. Serve at a temperature of 12-15°C to fully enjoy its qualities.
