Santenay Vieilles Vignes 2019 Jean Marc Vincent
Santenay Vieilles Vignes 2019 is a fine red wine produced by Jean-Marc Vincent. The grapes come from various plots of the 6 hectares of vineyards located in the Burgundy appellation of Santenay, south of the Côte de Beaune. Jean-Marc Vincent has produced a round, enveloping wine, characterised by a ruby red colour with dark highlights, for a nose that expresses mainly floral notes that dominate the aromatic bouquet: rose, peony, violet. Red fruits and liquorice complete the ensemble to give it more depth. The taste is enveloping and structured, balanced between acidity and the sweetness of the fruit, with a tannic texture that is present but silky and a nice length on the finish. A wine that is good to drink straight away but which will perhaps be able to express itself at its best in a few years' time.
