Description

Satyricon 2018 Luigi Tecce

The red wine "Satyricon" of the Irpinian producer Luigi Tecce is an Aglianico made with grapes from vineyards cultivated on soils of heterogeneous composition, with the presence of limestone, sand, clay and material of ancient volcanic origin.

Fermentation takes place in steel tanks using only indigenous yeasts and a maceration period on the skins of about three weeks. Subsequently, the wine matures 12 months in barrique, 10 months in steel and 10 months in bottle.

Luigi Tecce's Satyricon 2018 shows an intense ruby red colour to the eye. The nose expresses complex aromas of small dark berries, spices, mineral notes of graphite, hints of smoke. The sip is rich and structured, with important tannins and good complexity. The finish is long and persistent, with a fresh and spicy finish.
