Saumur Blanc "Arcane" 2017 Chateau de Fosse-Séche

Saumur Blanc Arcane is a white wine from the Loire Valley, produced in the Saumur area by the prestigious Chateau de Fosse-Seche, known for its excellent production of high-quality wines.

This particular wine is made from Chenin Blanc grapes, which are cultivated using traditional methods in soils rich in calcareous clay. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, which give the wine an interesting aromatic complexity.

The Chateau de Fosse-Seche Saumur Blanc Arcane is characterised by a straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. The nose presents an intense bouquet of white flowers, peach, apricot and honey, with a touch of vanilla and spices. CHATEAU DE FOSSE-SECHE

Château de Fosse-Sèche is a historic estate founded between the years 800 and 1000 by Benedictine monks in the Saumur area of the Loire Valley. The unique geology of the vineyard, composed mainly of flint and iron oxide on Jurassic soil, gives the wines of Fosse-Sèche a very distinctive straightness. Thanks to the cool, breezy exposure and the warmth of the flint, the wines produced here are an expression of an exceptional terroir.
