Spumante "Puro" Bianco 2015 Movia
Spumante Puro Bianco 2015 is a sparkling wine produced by the Movia winery. It is made from a blend of Chardonnay and Ribolla Gialla grapes from vines over 25 years old that grow on Flysch soils in the Collio region, which are organically grown with a ban on the use of chemicals, and harvested late.
Fermentation is spontaneous using only indigenous yeasts, with maceration on the skins for one day followed by gentle pressing of the fermenting must, which is then completed in barriques. The wine rests separately for the two varieties in wooden containers for 4 years, before creating the cuvée in the bottle where the re-fermentation takes place following the ancestral method with only the addition of must from the same grapes and its indigenous yeasts.
After an ageing period of 2 years, without any degorgement or dosage, the wine is ready to show a great structure and personality: Movia's sparkling wine "Puro" expresses in the glass a bright straw yellow colour with amber hues. On the nose there are fruity hints and salty notes for a fresh, lively and very mineral taste.

VINIFICATION: Fermentation with 1-day maceration. Stored 4 years in barriques. Blending and bottle fermentation according to the ancestral method with addition of must. No filtration, degorgement, dosage or addition of sulphur dioxide.
