Valpolicella Superiore "Monte Lodoletta" 2008 is a fine Italian wine produced by the Romano dal Forno, one of the most renowned in Valpolicella. It is made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes from a single vineyard, one of the finest on the estate. After the harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation with maceration on the skins and aging for 36 months in new barriques. In the glass shows an intense ruby red color. The nose expresses aromas of cherry and ripe red fruit, notes of dried fruit, spicy and wooden hints. On the palate it is well structured, fruity and harmonious, with a balanced and long sip. A great wine, the undisputed symbol of the region.
