Sauvignon Mademoiselle 2017 Alexandre Bain
Sauvignon Mademoiselle 2017 is a fine wine produced according to biodynamic methods, without added sulphites, by the Domaine Alexandre Bain. Obtained from 100% Sauvignon grapes, the most prestigious and important grape of the Loire Valley that grows on the limestone soils of Kimmeridgian, an oily land rich in mineral salts. It is a more difficult terrain to work on but which brings more structure, length and finesse to the wine. His work is based on principles of biodynamic agriculture and in a sustainable way: Alexandre plows the soil only with his horse, prohibits the use of chemicals both in the vineyard and in the cellar, makes late harvest to wait for the perfect ripening of the grapes. This interesting Sauvignon Mademoiselle 2017 shows a beautiful straw yellow color; the nose is fruity, mineral and saline. In the mouth it is lively and crunchy, with a beautiful structure and good flavor, with a fairly persistent finish.
