Arcane 2023 by Corentin Houillon is a natural Pinot Noir from the beautiful Savoie region, showcasing biodynamic viticulture and artisanal craftsmanship. Grown on the distinctive red-soil terroir of Chautagne, this wine is made from low-yield grapes that capture the essence of the land. The vinification process includes 50% de-stemmed grapes and 50% whole clusters, with an 18-day maceration and aging in used barrels, all without any chemical interventions.
The result is an extraordinary wine: delicate and vibrant, marked by crystalline purity, lively fruitiness, and an elegant smoky nuance. On the palate, it is refined and easy-drinking, with spicy and fruity notes that make it incredibly versatile. Perfect to enjoy now, after a 30-minute decantation, but it also has aging potential of 5 to 10 years in proper conditions.
