La Roussanne 2023 Romain Le Bars
La Roussanne by Romain Le Bars is a refined and characterful white wine from the Rhône Valley. Grown organically on clay-limestone soils, this pure Roussanne reflects the depth and finesse of this noble grape variety.
After direct pressing, the wine ferments in large barrels and barriques, where it continues to age for ten months. This meticulous process results in a golden-hued wine with a complex bouquet of white flowers, ripe peach, and apricot, subtly enriched by hints of honey and brioche.
On the palate, the texture is silky and slightly oily, beautifully counterbalanced by a vibrant freshness that extends the finish. Both structured and elegant, it pairs wonderfully with mushroom risotto, poultry in creamy sauce, or grilled fish with fennel. A wine of great finesse, ready to be enjoyed after a short decanting.
